Yenokavan community is in Tavush region. Distance is 144km from Yerevan and and 13km from Ijevan. There are all conditions for development of ecotourism: The community of 1,100 m above sea level, It is located in the temperate zone. The average temperature in summer is + 22C in winter `-2c:Community territory is 4,017.1 hectares, of which 1074.6 hectares of pastures and 203.7 hectares of arable land.Two storied cave is located in Khachaghbyur river valley, 3 km away from Yenokavan. Khachaghbyur leads to Lastiver: the cave, Anapat, fast flowing river, big and small waterfalls, forest and wonderful nature.In this place there are organizing bicycle tours, hiking on foot during which visitors are moving into the common forests along the banks of the Khachaghbyur river.
Given the achievements and great potential for development of tourism industry, tourism, sustainable development is seen as a key catalyst for community development and the driving force.Tourism will also promote the development of related industries and the replenishment of the budget, creating new sources of income formation and having a wide range of economic and social impact on the wider community.
